About Julie’s Bookkeeping

Julie’s Bookkeeping was founded by Julie Guiblin, who, after moving from France to Ireland in 2001, fell in love with West Cork. After years in the corporate world, Julie decided to pursue a more personal approach to business and launched her bookkeeping service in 2019. With a passion for organization and helping businesses thrive, Julie’s Bookkeeping quickly grew from assisting clients with VAT returns to offering a comprehensive range of services.

Today, Julie and her team provide ongoing management of accounts, ensuring businesses have clear financial visibility while lifting the burden of invoicing and bookkeeping off their shoulders. What makes Julie’s Bookkeeping stand out is the personal touch—clients feel supported every step of the way, knowing their finances are in expert hands.

Our Commitment

At Julie’s Bookkeeping, we’re dedicated to providing timely, accurate, and dependable service. We know that running a business means staying on top of deadlines and having clear financial information. That’s why we prioritize precision, responsiveness, and ongoing communication. Whether it’s answering questions, handling urgent tasks, or being available when you need us, we’re here to ensure that your bookkeeping runs smoothly, allowing you to focus on growing your business.

Flexible Services – Digital or by Post?

We understand that every business operates differently, which is why we offer both cloud-based and traditional bookkeeping services. Whether you prefer digital solutions like Sage, BrightAccounts and QuickBooks, or you’d rather send physical copies of your invoices and receipts, we’ll work with you to create a system that suits your needs. Our goal is to make bookkeeping as simple and convenient as possible, no matter your preferred method.

Bookkeeping vs. Account Management: What’s the Difference?

  • This is the foundation of your financial management - recording and organising everyday transactions, tracking income, expenses, invoices, and receipts to ensure all your financial data is accurate and up to date.

  • This goes beyond the basics, helping with VAT returns, financial forecasting, and giving you a strategic view of your business’s financial health. It’s about planning for growth and making informed decisions, giving you more control over your future success.

Both are vital, but account management offers an extra layer of support to help your business not just survive but thrive.
